( Adventures in Blood-Donor Land. )

I got a certificate and a sticker for my car windshield saying that I'd donated eight gallons of blood.

If I don't miss any donation dates, the next time I pass a gallon mark should be June of next year or thenabouts.

( At least by my...lenient...standards. )

( Some complications, but in the end all went well. )

I gave blood again today, and everything went very well. The phlebotomist had no trouble finding my vein, my blood pressure's behaving itself beautifully, and there were no hitches whatsoever. If I keep up donating whenever I'm eligible, in a little over a year I should be up to eight gallons of A-.

I donated blood again last Monday, and just now checked the blood center's records online. I've passed the seven-gallon mark.

On to eight, and, eventually ten gallons!
